Belangrijk nieuws van Huisartsen Vrolikstraat ivm de corona-epidemie – important news from Huisartsen Vrolikstraat concerning the corona-epidemic

Geachte patiënten van Huisartsen Vrolikstraat,

De snelle uitbreiding van het corona-virus in Nederland en de hierdoor snel veranderende situatie en maatregelen dwingen ons, de manier van werken in onze praktijk tijdelijk structureel te veranderen.

Wij zullen in de komende tijd veel te maken hebben met zieke mensen, die mogelijk besmet zijn met het corona-virus. Wij moeten tijd en ruimte vrijmaken, om deze mensen zo nodig bij te kunnen staan. Ook moeten wij de kans dat mensen elkaar op onze praktijk besmetten, zoveel mogelijk minimaliseren.

Om de situatie hanteerbaar te houden, en om de kans op besmetting met het corona-virus op de praktijk zo klein mogelijk te houden, werken wij vanaf  maandag 16 maart, op de volgende manier:

  1. We doen geen inloopspreekuur meer, om te voorkomen dat veel mensen samen in de wachtkamer zitten.
  2. We doen spreekuur alleen op afspraak; maak uw afspraak aub telefonisch, dus niet aan de balie.
  3. De komende weken gaan wij alleen spoedeisende vragen op de spreekuur zien. Dus alles, wat ook op een later tijdstip kan, moet even wachten.   4. Als u zich licht ziek voelt met klachten zoals hoesten, hoofdpijn, lichte koorts: blijf dan vooral thuis en ziek het goed uit. Als u naar de praktijk komt, riskeert u, andere mensen te besmetten. En wij zullen sowieso niets voor u kunnen doen. Antibiotica werken niet tegen het corona-virus.   5. Voor alle spoedeisende situaties blijft uw praktijk bereikbaar maandag t/m vrijdag van 08:00-17:00 uur.

Dear patients of Huisartsen Vrolikstraat,
The rapid progression of the coronavirus-epidemic and, as a result, the quickly changing situation in The Netherlands and Amsterdam, force us to change our way of working at our practice fundamentally.
In the coming time we expect to see many ill people, possible infected with the corona-virus. To be able to handle such a situation, we have to clear space and time so that we can help sick patients, if needed. Furthermore, we have to reduce the chance that patients infect each other at our practice as much as possible.
We therefore introduce the following measures, starting today, monday 16th of march:

1)The walk-in consultation from 08:00-09:30 hrs is temporarily abolished. We do this to prevent many people sitting together in our waiting-room, without us knowing what you are coming for.

2) From now on we’ll do consultation on appointment only. Please make your appointment by telephone, NOT by coming to our reception desk.

3) These coming weeks, we’ll do consultation only in case of urgent matters/problems. Anything that can wait, will have to wait. Please consider this carefully when thinking about booking an appointment. 4) In case you feel slightly or moderately ill with symptoms such as coughing, headache, light fever: Please stay at home and just wait for it to pass. If you come to the practice, you risk to infect others, including our staff; and we won’t be able to do anything for you anyway. 5) Our practice stays open for all emergency situations from monday till friday, 08:00-17:00 hrs.
